Abstract

For a company, the final result in the form of a product is absolute, which cannot be separated from the productivity of human resources which is influenced by various factors such as binding company regulations, high production target targets to meet market needs, thus giving rise to a major influence on employees, especially in the production department. An employee must always receive attention from his leader or superior in order to achieve good work productivity. This attention can be in the form of actions taken to resolve the problem. Some of the problems faced by employees include workloads that are too heavy, inappropriate working hours and work stress, many requirements that must be met, inappropriate income levels, and even the amount of work that must be completed. This research was conducted at PT. XYZ with a total of 100 respondents using a questionnaire on the Googleform application. The research method used is quantitative with the SmartPLS 3.0 data analysis tool. The results obtained are that workload and work stress have a positive and significant direct effect on work productivity. Workload, work stress have a positive and significant effect on motivation as a mediating variable and motivation mediates the relationship between workload, work stress and work productivity
